Teriyaki sauce jelly

Teriyaki sauce in jelly form. The jelly was an accident but ended up being super delicious 😋 and useful to thinken other dishes 😃


Ingredients serve 4 persons

100ml soy sauce

100ml water

50g brown sugar

1 tbsp honey

1 tbsp ground fresh garlic

1 tsp ground fresh ginger

1 tsp sesame oil

1.5 tbsp cornstarch dissolved in a bit of cold water

Mix all ingredients except for the cornstarch in a pan and let it simmer for 10min

Add cornstarch (dissolved in cold water) and bring to cook to thinken the sauce, cook for another 2min

The teriyaki sauce is ready to use (warm) or fill into a glass and let it cool down to get the jelly

Use as a dip or use to cook (tofu, meat, veggies or whatever makes you happy 😊)
