Kimchi Jjigae

Super yummy kimchi stew, you can’t get enough of it! You can also use other pieces of meat or no meat at all πŸ™‚ Best served with white sticky rice 🍚


Ingredients serve 2 persons

2 handful kimchi

100ml kimchi brine (sauce)

1 onion

2 spring onions

1 pork sausage

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp sugar

2 tsp Korean chili flakes

1 tbsp gochujang

1 tsp dashi

1 tsp sesame oil

1 pack firm tofu

toasted sesame seeds

cut kimchi and put with brine into a pan

add cut onion and 1 cut spring onion

remove sausage from skin and pull into small pieces and add

add salt, sugar, chili flakes, sesame oil, gochujang and dashi

add 500ml hot water and bring to boil

cook on medium heat for 10min

cut tofu in slices and add

cook for another 5min and garnish with cut spring onion and toasted sesame seeds
